Celebrations began at the Weaver Street Market in Carrboro where costumes were made, the Bulltown Strutters and Tim Stambaugh performed & people visited and ate brunch. The costume contest had several categories based on age. After the winners were announced, everyone gathered together to create a parade and march down to the Carrboro Town Commons where the music and games continued all afternoon.
