One of the greatest gospel singers & soul legend, Mavis and her talented, high energy band took us to the church of life outdoors on the streets of downtown Greensboro. Mavis lit up Greensboro singing songs from the past 6 decades. From gospel to protest songs that reflect the need for social change, these songs are still relevant today. It was so nostalgic to those of us old enough to remember; it was also a peaceful music rally about the times we live in. With over 6 decades of writing and singing songs from her heart, we see what is old is new again. Mavis is strong as ever at 76 years of life.
