Had a great trip down to the Brookgreen Gardens area in Pawley's Island, SC with the Carolina Nature Photography Association. The gardens and statuary at Brookgreen Gardens are phenomenal; it's the largest outdoor sculpture garden in the world with a lovely garden featuring southern plants. You can easily spend a day or two enjoying the gardens. In addition, there was a rookery complete with new feathered families, butterflies, beautiful sunrises & sets and an-up close look at large shore birds in the Aviary.
